Maegan began working with us in 2023, and her enablement and tenacity, along with her skills in writing and project organization have been a critical piece of many of our projects. We talked with Maegan about her experience with NextLevel Thinking so far, and this is what she had to say:
How would you describe what it is like to work at NextLevel Thinking?
It is the first work environment I have experienced where mistakes are openly owned up to and the expectation of excellence doesn’t mean never asking for help. Each person on the team is an excellent teacher; each and every one of them has taken the time to teach me new things and walk me through new processes without complaint. The amount of support is overwhelming!
What advice would you give a candidate who wants to join our team of superstars?
Be honest about your strengths and what you’re passionate about! This team is amazing at utilizing you in the places in which you thrive. Even more exciting: they are incredible at supporting you with the areas you need to improve!
In what ways do you think NLT differs from other workplaces you’ve experienced?
Our team works really well together and helps each other out when life happens. We function as parts of a whole unit. There isn’t competition or power plays.
How has your role at NLT helped you grow personally and professionally?
My role with NLT has encouraged me to try new things and know that I am going to have the support of my coworkers regardless of the outcome. That has given me confidence in my abilities both in and out of the workplace. I have really enjoyed getting to use the creativity that I haven’t been able to use as much in my previous professions. I love learning new technology and completing more open-ended objectives.
